Any AI-generated grade or comment remains fully editable. You keep full control over the final grading of every paper.
How to edit
Open the graded paper from the exam.
Click directly in the grade or comment field you want to edit.
Make your change: adjust the numeric grade, the competency level, or rewrite the comment.
Move to another field or close the paper: your change is saved automatically.
There's no "Save" button to look for: editing is designed to be smooth and uninterrupted. Even if you close the tab right after a change, it's saved.
Ask the AI assistant
You can also hand the change over to the AI assistant at the bottom of the paper. Type your request in the "Ask AI to edit this correction…" field, for example "give 3 points to question 2" or "add to the comment that the calculations need better justification". The grades and comments involved are updated right away.
Edit by voice
Click Edit by voice, allow microphone access if your browser asks, then speak naturally, just as you would when grading out loud. You can chain several requests without clicking in between.
The interface follows you: as soon as you mention a question or an exercise, the paper scrolls to it and highlights it.
Say "undo": anything in progress or pending is cancelled, or otherwise the last applied change is undone.
Like your manual edits, changes made through the assistant, in writing or by voice, are saved automatically and kept in the history.
What recalculates automatically
If you're using grading-scale mode, editing a question's grade automatically recalculates the paper's total grade. In competency-based assessment, each competency level remains independent.
History kept
Every change you make is kept in a history, separate from the AI-generated evaluations. This lets you always distinguish what came from automatic grading from what you adjusted yourself, and trace how a grade or comment evolved over time.
